ラジオがなく、ペースがつかめない中、
よくぞ、春、夏と継続できました。
今年度になって、やはりコロナ関連のテーマが多いです。
それだけコロナが全世界のあらゆるものに影響を与えたということでしょう。
コロナで家にいる時間が長くなったせいで、英語を勉強し始める人が増えています。
これも一つのコロナによる影響でしょう。
今週末は台風で家にいる時間も長くなりそうです。
英語でも勉強してみましょうか。

もともとは「乳歯の生え始め時期のむずがり」という意味です。
★have ...going for one, ...が（人）に有利に働く
The biggest thing they have going for them is that several restaurants can operate out of the same kitchen.
私の例文です。
I had a lot going for me to say such words.
★get in on, ...に参加する、...に参入する、...に加わる
The hotel industry is getting in on the ghost kitchen trend.
（後を追って）...に参加すると意味です。
Get in on the actという成句があり、become involved in a particular activity, in order t gain an advantageといことです（オックスフォード新英英）
私の例文です。
I'll get in on the surprise party of John.
★resemble, 似ている、（...の）ようである
Some urban centers began to resemble European squares crowded with outdoor cafes.
resembleは他動詞のため、resemble toなどとしないようにしましょう。
ロングマン現代英英辞典をみると、コロケーションとして、 closely/strongly/greatly/vaguely/supereficiallyがあるようです。
私の例文です。
My son closely resembles me.
★check all the box, すべての条件を満たす
Pizza has checked many boxes during these strange times, primarily because it travels well and can easily feed an entire family.
ビニエットでは check many boxesとなっています。
