I went to cat cafe in Tokyo on Monday. It was the first time for me to go there.
At the entrance of the cafe, the waitless explained me the system. You have to wash your hands befor entering the room and after leaving the room. You have to pay 600 yen for 30 minutes. If you stay longer than 30 minutes, you have to pay the extra charge. You can order drinks for 300 yen.
Entering the room, I found all cats sleeping. It was 1:00 pm. Is this time for taking a nap? Anyway I started to take photos of cats. Some cats awoke. You can touch cats. All cats are pedigreed so they are beautiful. The fur was smooth. I was satisfied a lot. I hope to come again when cats are awake.
According to wikipedia, the first cat cafe opened in Taiwan in 1998. Cat cafes are quite popular in Japan. Cats and dogs are popular pets in Japan. But some cannot have pet in their apartments because it is prohibited to have pet in some apartment. So such a people gather at cat cafes.
