I hope you're having a good day.

★get behind, ...

Kudos to them for getting behind this very worthy project.

We're behind you all the way.

I am getting behind this fundraising campaigning.

A whopping 20 people of food that we put on our own plates winds up in the garbage. That is just so obscene.

They are selling surgical masks at a whopping price. That's obscene.

Wow. Those are staggering statistics.

I've got staggering TOEIC score, 990!

These companies are sending food items to food banks close to their expiration dates.

send food items (which are) close to their expiration dates

Food that is close to being unsellable is marked down. Food close to being unsellable is marked down. なのに(3)ではなぜ、food items close to their expiration dates と言えるのか。

★interpret something all too literally, ...

They interpret food-expiration labels all too literally.

Many people interpret TOEIC score all too literally.

Some food companies are trying to tackle this problem by setting voluntary standards that streamline the labels to just two phrases.

I've created a voluntary study group of EIKEN Grade 1. Come and join us!
