Robot's steady advance will have enormous repercussions in the workplace too.

It says robots will probably elbow out paralegals, administrative workers, telemarketers and a whole host of other white-collar folks.

Those are hard numbers to argue with.

In my mind, the biggest potential danger isn't that these mechanical marvels could break down.

It's that we may lose our ability to think on our feet after we outsource our thinking to them.

Robot's steady advance will have enormous repercussions in the workplace too.

(usu. repercussions) an intended consequence occurring some time after an event or action, esp. unwelcome one

★elbow out, ...
★a whole host of, 多数の

It says robots will probably elbow out paralegals, administrative workers, telemarketers and a whole host of other white-collar folks.

★Those are hard numbers to argue with.

In my mind, the biggest potential danger isn't that these mechanical marvels could break down.

★think on one's feet,

It's that we may lose our ability to think on our feet after we outsource our thinking to them.
