米国赴任126週目が終了。
近所にある猫カフェ主催のcatographyに参加しました。
この猫カフェ、基本は養子サービスとなっており、引き取ることができます、というかそれが目的で運営されています。アメリカにはこういう猫カフェが多いですね。
catographyとは、猫を被写体にして、スマホによる写真の撮り方をプロのカメラマンが指導してくれるというイベントでした。
iPhoneの標準のカメラアプリにも知らない技がありました。Exposure （露出）の変更です。え、ここで露出が変わるの？という感じです。
他には、Compositionとして、Rules of thirds, Cropping, Framing, Depthといったテーマで写真の撮り方を学びました。Depthがなんなのかは忘れてしまいましたが。。
このカメラマンさんによると、ズームをすると画質が悪くなるので自分はズームは使わないということでした。また縦でも横向きでもどちらでもよく、それは後でcroppingするからだそうです。
写真を撮った後は、Post Processingです。別のアプリで写真を修正します。Exposure, Contrast, Saturation, Temperature, Leveling, Crop That! といったテーマで修正します。中にはよく分からないものもありました。
前回来た時は寝ている猫ばかりでしたが、今回は動き回る猫が5匹もいて大満足なのでした。もちろん猫は引き取られて入れ替わるので、前回とは違う猫だったはずです。
