米国赴任106週目が終了。
5/14はBike to Work Dayでした。自転車で通勤しようというイベントで、アメリカ、カナダでこの時期に行われます。
道沿いにスポンサーによるEnergizer Stationsと呼ばれるテントがこの日に設置され、無料で水、スナックなどを提供します。
最近自転車通勤を始めた私もEnergizer Stationsに寄り、トートバック、スナック、自転車用ランプ、パンク修理キットをゲットしました。
干ばつのはずのカルフォルニアで、この日の午後雨が降り、ビビりましたが、夕方には晴れ間も戻り、無事自転車で帰ることができました。

UmanoとはWeb Siteの記事を英語の肉声で読み上げてくれるサービスです。PC、及びスマホのアプリで聞けます。カテゴリーを指定できます。私の場合テクノロジー系のニュースを連続して聞いています。
