先日さんまを買おうとしたところ、店員から「.... clean....?」と聞かれました。以前は聞かれたことがないその言葉に戸惑う私。cleanしか聞き取れません。
何度clean?と聞かれても意味の分からない私に業を煮やした店員が吐き捨てるように舌打ちをして、さんまを袋詰めして手渡します。
一応さんまは買えたのですが、あれは一体何だったのか。。
それがわかったのは次の週、またその鮮魚コーナーに来た時でした。
そう、cleanとは魚の処理サービスだったのです。鮮魚コーナーの壁にその説明がありました。
