実践ビジネス英語 2014/2 Lesson 22 Be More Productive 4,5,6 ★ best score更新 125!

米国赴任45週目が終了。

土曜日にゴルフのコンペでベストスコアの125を出しました。前半53、後半72でした。最近の練習の成果です。前半は私としては驚異的スコアだったのですが、後半崩れたのはスタミナが足りないのでしょう。コンペ参加者24人中では下から3番目でしたが。。

(6)でのヘザーさんの発言に、朝食にシリアル(vitamin-fortified cereal)とバナナをとっているとありました。私もこちらに来て以来これと同じです。調理がいらないというところがいいです。

ビタミン入りシリアルというのは気がつきませんでした。今度探してみましょう。ところでこちらの牛乳にはビタミンDが入っているのが多いです。

ヘザーさんは、通勤時に2つ前の駅で降りて歩くそうですが、私の場合、自動車通勤なのでこの技は使えませんが、会社のジムで始業前にウォーキングを来週からしてみようと思います。ゴルフのスコアと共に、仕事の効率も上がることでしょう。

今日日曜日、近くのショートホールで練習したのですが、予約時間通りに行ったら1時間遅刻していました。そう!サマータイムが今日から始まっていたのです。自宅の時計の針を進めていなかったため起こったミスでした。遅刻はしましたがプレーはでき、見知らぬインド人2人と回りました。
