米国赴任4週目が終了。今週はロンドン出張でした。英語的にはイギリス英語バリバリの人の英語はやはり難しかったです。
5月のロンドンとしては寒かったと思います。冬のようでした。雨も降りましたし。食事的にはイギリスの食事はおいしくないと言われますが、そうではありませんでした。インド料理は試してませんがいけるそうですし、タイ料理、パブ料理などもいけました。パブで伝統的なイギリス料理を食べた際には、おやっと思う所もありましたが。fish and chipsと並んで、sausage and mashという伝統料理もありました。まあ、単純な料理ですね。
路上でテロ殺人が起きたり、ヒースロー空港が閉鎖されたりと事件も起きていたようですが、私には影響はありませんでした。
最終日にモールで買い物をしましたが、ついネイルケア商品を買わされてしまいました。今、私のネイルは光り輝いています。
