「腐食がひどく修理できない為修理せずに」工場から返却された水没電子辞書が
カシオテクノから宅配便で届きました。送料は先方持ちです。
一応電池を入れてみると、電源が入る！！
中の基盤は腐食していても、一応動く！！
問題はいつまで動くのか、基盤が腐食した状態で使って身に危険はないのか、
ということ。
最後の火をともしているのでしょう。大事に使いたいと思います。

2. 英語に関するあれこれ
職場で出会ったこんな英語シリーズ。2回目はdragです。
今回のビニエットで、「be dragged aboard, ...に乗せられて連れていかれる」
として出てきますが、最近以下のような、これとは違う使い方を会社で聞きました。
「ある製品が売れることにより、それに影響されて違う製品も売れるようになる」
ここでdragが使われていました。例えばこんな感じ。
Product A drags product B.
製品Aにより製品Bも売れるようになる。
それまでdragという単語はマウスのドラッグ以外、あまり聞いた事が
なかったので、おやと思いました。そして今回のbe dragged aboardでの再会でした。
