iPhoneと電子辞書の水没事故以来、関連関係の情報を調べていると、ヨドバシカメラ
が水没携帯を乾燥させる「ドライヤーボックス」を設置している事を知りました。
現在は、横浜、川崎ルフルン、吉祥寺、新宿西口本店、梅田、秋葉原の各店舗に
設定されているそうです。
30分で乾燥できて、成功したら料金は1000円とのこと。
万が一、水没させたらこれを利用するのもいいでしょう。
これを知っていたらヨドバシに持って行ったのに、米で乾燥させようなどして
しまいました。iPhoneの水没など「想定外」だったのです。

2. 英語に関するあれこれ
今年の4月から英語をより多く使う職場に異動しました。現場の英語の資料に
触れる機会が多くなり、「ほお」と思える表現に出会うこともあります。
そういう表現をご紹介していきます。
第1回目は「pain point」です。
これは「ユーザ企業が困っている点」という意味で使われているようです。
辞書には「痛点」と載っています。
Webでは、something displeasurable about a product. と、あります。
今使っている製品で困っていること、という意味でしょう。

通り抜ける」で良いですが、navigateだけで「複雑なことを理解する/対処する」
という意味になります。

ビニエットではhence the nameで終わっていますが、この後に何か動詞が
省略されているのでしょう。
