Silent Auctionの話も最後は不況が原因で消費者支出が減少しているという
話で締めくくられました。こういうパターン、最近多いですね。
同じような感想をtwitterでも見かけたので笑ったのですが、調べてみました。
今年4月からの次のレッスンでも後半から不況の話に変わっています。

2. 英語に関するあれこれ
リスニングのために学習者向けではなく、英語を話す一般人向けのpodcast
を探しているという話をしました。
ある程度見つかったのですが、「その会議を録音して聞く」というアイデアも
いただきました。
聞き取れないものを録音して教材にして聞くという、理にかなった方法です。
早速録音して聞いてみました。
何回か聞くと聞き取れるようになる所もありました。
それよりも自分のしゃべる英語を久しぶりに聞きました。
なんと声の小さいことよ。
英会話で一番大事なことは「大きな声」ということらしいですね。

確かに会社にいるネイティブは声が大きいです。
遠くで打ち合わせしている声も聞こえます。
「英会話は大きな声で」
これを気にしてみたいと思います。
