入門ビジネスの関谷先生による「関谷英里子のビジネスに効く！ポジ
ティブ英語」を読みました。
本書は2012年1月のNHK『実践！英語でしゃべらナイト』特別講座「ビジネス交
渉の極意」をベースにしたものだそうです。中身はビジネスの様々なシチュエー
ションにおける使えるポジティブフレーズが収められています。
いくつかためになったポイントをご紹介。
・最初の3人までに発言しよう
早めに発言してネイティブではないことを参加者にわからせ、あなたに英語力
を調整してもらうというテクニックです。
・書き出しはHi, Steve. でO
すでに知っている間柄ならメールの最初はHi, Steve. でいいそうです。
実は新しい職場の英文メールでこれが使われているのです。オドロキでした。
