米国とのテレカンにオブザーバ参加しました。
皆さん英語が達者です。英語でしゃべらナイトでやっていたようなあの場面が
目の前にありました。
実は私にとって英語よりも問題なのは、業務内容が大きく変わったこと。
業務知識のcatch upのほうが大変なのです。
ひっしこいて英語のテキストを読んでます。

英語で生き残るためのたった1つの習慣
─アメリカ人ベテラン教授が教えてくれた"究極の英語勉強法"
という本を読みました。
この本では、英語は結局「読む」ことが大事で、毎日20分でもいいから
英語の本を読みましょうということが書かれています。
読む本としてはアメリカの小学生から高校生の課題図書が良いそうです。
本書ではそのページ数の9割くらいを課題図書のリストが占めています。
最近ではkindleで無料の本もあるので、children's bookのカテゴリーから
読むのもよいでしょう。
