Well, I was at an office party last week when this jovial 
older woman came up to me and asked very casually if I was
seeing anyone and if I'm interested in American men.

She may have been a bit inebriated, but I was quite ill at
ease and didn't know how to respond.

She may have meant well, but it's really not her business
to be sticking her nose in other people's affairs like that.

As HR manager, I'm well aware of how single woman often
feel stigmatized in the workplace.

So even in this day and age, when there are so many role
models for women, this kind of prejudice still exists.

regarded by many people as being bad or having something
