It's repulsive.

That's a real letdown.

Apparently, our competitors are spreading obnoxious rumors 
about us. That's hitting below the belt.

If you say that something is deplorable, you think that it is
very bad and unacceptable. [FORMAL]

ex) Many of them live under deplorable conditins.

=lamentable

repulsive, 大変いやな、嫌悪感を起こさせる
──────────────────────────────
If you describe something or someone as repulsive, you mean
that they are horrible and disgusting and you want to avoid
them.

ex) the most repulsive mass murderer America has known.

letdown, 期待外れなこと
──────────────────────────────
A let-down is a disappointment that you suffer, usually
because something has not happened in the way in which you
expected it to happen.

ex) The flat was really very nice, but compared with what we'd
been used to, it was a terrible let-down.

obnoxious, 不愉快な
──────────────────────────────
If you describe someone as obnoxious, you think that they 
are very unpleasant.

ex) The people at my table were so obnoxious I simply had to
change my seat.

hit below the belt, 汚い手を使う

If you describe what someone has done as below the belt,
you mean that it is unfair or cruel.

ex) highly-sensitive information about another person can
often be used as a weapon against them, and these kinds
of blows below the belt are the surest way to destroy
a friendship or love affair.
