NLPのセミナーに行って以来、
関連本を読んだりしています。
「強いリーダーはチームの無意識を動かす」
という本を読みましたが、ためになることが
多く書かれてありました。
ここでは英語に関する記述について取り上げましょう。
日本人は、英語を母国語とする人に混ざって議論すると、
話に入り込むチャンスがない場合が多いですが、
それは英語と日本語の構造によるというのです。
英語は文の前半で何を言いたいかがわかるので、
相手が話し終わる前に次の人が話を始めるが、
日本語は文の最後まで聞かないと、
相手の言いたいことがわからないため、
相手が話し終わるのを待って、次の人が話し始める、
というのです。
そういうこともあるのでしょうね。
日本語は重要なことを話の最後に持ってくるという、
この性質を使って、NLPには相手を説得させる
テクニックがあるのですが、詳しくはこちらの本をどうぞ。
