やはり最近は、はやり、なのでしょうね、先日、NHKで、
ユニクロの女性店長の働き方改善についての事例が
放映されていました。
これまで、ユニクロでは、店長があまりにも長時間勤務のため、
女性は結婚すると退職するのが恒例になっていたそうです。
これを、人材の損失であると認識し、「平日8時間、土日休日」
店長という制度をつくり、今では多くの子持ちの女性店長が
働いているそうです。
店長のいない間は、部下が代わりとなって、責任ある仕事を
するので、部下の育成にもつながる、ということでした。
この、女性店長プロジェクトのことなのでしょう。↓

you do it even though you know that the unplesant thing might happen
as a result.

──────────────────────────────
If you say that someone belabours the point, you mean that they keep
on talking about it, perhaps in an annoying or boring way.

Something that is viable is capable of doing what it is intended to do.
