あの和田裕美さんです。

Kiss-FM KOBEというラジオ局の番組がpodcastingされてます。

carbon footprintが「二酸化炭素の排出量」ということですが、
footprintが排出量となるのですね。


■意味を考えてみよう。今日取り上げる単語が含まれています。

and we're reducing our carbon footprint by turning our daily trek
to the office into a green commute.

Like avoiding quick accelations and decelerations, turning the engine
off instead of idling for long periods, making sure your tires are
properly inflated and keeping to a moderate speed.

If you say that someone is in the driver's seat, you mean that they are
in control in a situation.

ex) Now he knows he's in the driver's seat and can wait for a better deal.
