Business leaders need to get down to brass tacks on managing
a diversified workforce.

Training programs must be revamped to reflect new perspectives
on doing business on a worldwide scale.

Learning to wear differnt hats when dealing with people of
various cultural backgrounds and unique points of view
would increase sensitivity to people from different places
and experiences.

I know the company also encourages executives to mentor
younger employees from different demographic groups.

get down to brass tacks, 核心に触れる、現実問題に取り組む
If people get down to brass tacks, they begin to discuss
the basic, most important aspects of a situation.

ex) The third congress of Angola's ruling party was due to
get down to brass tacks today with a debate on the party's
performance during the last five years.

revamp, 改良する
If someone revamps something something, they make changes
to it in order to try and improve it.

ex) All Italy's political parties have accepted that
it is time to revamp the system.

perspective on, ...についての考え方 [展望]
A particular perspective is a particular way of thinking
about something, especially one that is influenced by
your belief or experiences.

ex) He says the death of his father 18 months ago has
given him a new perspective on life.

wear different hats, さまざまな役割をこなす
If you say that someone is wearing a particular hat, you mean
that they are performing a particular role at that time. If
you say that they wear several hats, you mean that they have
several roles or jobs.

ex) various problems, including too many people wearing
too many hats.

mentor, メンターとなる、助言を与える
To mentor someonr means to give them help and advice over
a period of time, especially help and advice related to
their job.

ex) He had mentored scores of younger doctors.
