下のコウビルドの意味もこれに近いと思いますが、ビニエットでの
意味はリーダーズプラスにあった「出発点、足掛かり」という
意味のほうが近いように感じましたのでこちらを採用しました。

people what they think or want.
ex) The demonstration provided a platform for a broad
cross section of speakers.
