松山の続きです。

仕事をさくっと終えた夜、
愛媛FCのホームゲームをやっていたので、
ニンジンスタジアムへ、松山市駅から出ている臨時バスで
行きました(30分ほど)。

愛媛FCはJ2でして、サッカー場も片方は芝生席(1500円)でした。
芝生の角度がないので、グラウンドがよく見えません。
焼きそばとビールを飲みながら見ました。

徳島のチームとの四国ダービーでしたが、結局愛媛が1-0で勝ちました。
サポーターの盛り上がりはすばらしかったです。

バスと市電で大街道へ。
居酒屋(客ゼロ)で大将の不景気の話を聞かされるはめに。
とほほ。

宗教、民族的な違いといったことはジョークにしてはならない
とビニェットの最後のあたりで言われています。

ニューヨークに行っているお笑い芸人の長井秀和がテレビ(
めざまし
土曜日)のインタビューで、これらこそが受けると言っていました。

プロとアマの違いなのでしょう。




■意味を考えてみよう。今日取り上げる単語が含まれています。

But our sense of humor may fall flat in other countries.

What may be hilarious in Chinese may not be so in Japanese.

A masterless samurai went to a sake shop and made a weak
excuse for not settling his account.

The merchant sneered at him and said, "Why not?"

But cracking jokes across different cultures can be quite tricky.
