Juggling Work and Life、おなじみのテーマです。
(1)で、urban professional 都会の専門職、の解説で思い出を振り返るように、死語となっているyuppieの説明になりましたが、ここはprofessionalの説明をしていただきたかったです。
過去のビニエットでも、このprofessionalという言葉が出てきて理解できていませんので。
以下、facebook部に投稿した私の疑問を再掲します。

このprofessionalという言葉の意味ですが、ある辞書によると
Simple Definition of professional
: relating to a job that requires special education, training, or skill
: done or given by a person who works in a particular profession
: paid to participate in a sport or activity
とあるのですが、はたしていわゆるホワイトカラーは含まれると考えてよいものでしょうか。ホワイトカラーは知的職業人という解釈で。
