But when books are not only digitized but properly hooked up to the Internet,
then e-books will really come into their own.
The common distinction between the Internet and books is a false dichotomy.
I hate to sound like a stick-in-the-mud, but, again, I'm in no hurry to get to
a promised land where all books are e-books.
My book e-tailer emails me recommendations, and I belong to a couple of online
discussion groups where books are the main topic.
I'm convinced that the e-book revolution, as well as online-based sales of
physical books, means bookstores will soon go the way of the dodo.
Hold your horses, Jack.

wikipediaによると、dichotomyとは
A dichotomy is any splitting of a whole into exactly two non-overlapping parts,
meaning it is a procedure in which a whole is divided into two parts. It is a
partition of a whole (or a set) into two parts (subsets) that are:
jointly exhaustive: everything must belong to one part or the other, and
mutually exclusive: nothing can belong simultaneously to both parts.
