2. 英語に関するあれこれ
前回、時間のない中で洋書をとばし読みしている件を書きました。
これは一般の英語学習にも当てはまるのだと思います。
学習する時間が無限にあると思って行う学習では、枝葉末節にこだわってしまい
がち。一方、期限が決まっている場合は枝葉末節にこだわれないため、本質的
部分のみをやらざるを得ない。そのため学習に費やした時間と効果の割合で
考えると非常によいものになる。このようなことはいえないでしょうか。
楽しくやるのが目的ならば、時間に関する費用対効果などは考えなくてもよい
ともいえますが、限られた時間の中で成果を上げる必要もあるケースもある
でしょう。その方が結果として高い位置まで上ることができる。そういうこと
があるかもしれません。
資格試験などは期限の決まった目標のの一つかもしれませんね。
そうそう、先月受けたTOEIC、30点ダウンでした。
