今、話題沸騰の書「フリー」についての書評を書きました。


「フリー」に書かれている話です。

ここでも以前ご紹介した、TEDカンファレンスについてです。

高額なチケットを購入しないと見れない貴重な講演を
無料で公開しているTEDですが、



なぜ、無料で公開することができるのでしょうか。


こんな事をすると、誰も生の講演に行かなくなるではないか、
と思うかもしれません。

しかし、実情は逆で、TEDカンファレンスの出席者数と、
そして、なんとチケット代も毎年上がっているのです。

2009年度は1400人の出席者で、チケットは6000ドルもするそうです。

オンラインの動画を見るのと、会場で実際に聴くのは違う、
ということなのでしょう。

インターネットの普及で、地方でも都会と同じく仕事が
できるようになるという予想がありましたが、

実際には、ネット上にある情報の価値は下がり、
じかに会って話すことの価値が上がっている現象と
似ているように思います。


このような、今、話題沸騰の書「フリー」についての書評
を書きました。
