The car company tied the campaign to the downturn economy
in a way that wasn't distasteful.

The hotel industry is one sector that's really feeling the
pinch because of the recession as both businesses and private
individuals cut back on travel plans.

Not to mention valet parking services, as I found out to
my cost.

But some hotels are offering deeply discounted room rates 
and last-minute reservations in an effort to entice customers.

If anything, this recession-hit economy has really highlighted
the difference between companies that actually put customers
first and those that are willing to sacrifice customer
loyalty for short-term gain.
