英語、日本語と変えてみると効果的だと思います。

I heard of an Internet startup company where gossip and
backstabbing had reached epidemic proportions, to the point
where sensitive company information was being leaked to
competitors.
The CEO eventually decided the only way to dispel the
poisonous atmosphere was to fire the guilty parties.
I like to think that such problems can be solved by trying
to foster a healthy, open workplace atmosphere that
discourages irresponsible rumor-mongering.
You may hear a rumor about an impending layoff.
