日向先生のブログ[1]で紹介されていたので、白井恭弘著の
「外国語学習の科学（岩波新書）[2]」を読みました。
第二言語習得論の最近の進展をまとめたものですが、
要は第二外国語としての英語を学び方の研究結果を
一般に還元しているものです。
第6章の「効果的な外国語学習法」が我々学習者には大事ですが
以下のような目次になっています。
- 分野をしぼってインプットする
- 例文暗記の効用
- アウトプットは毎日、少しでも
- コミュニケーション ストラテジーを使う
- 無意味学習と有意味学習の違い
- 単語は文脈の中で覚える
- 発音、音声はまねることから
- 「文をつくれる」くらいの基本的な文法も
- 動機付けを高める
- 学習ストラテジーは自分にあったものを
私も自らの体験から独自の学習法を編み出してきていますが、
大筋間違ってはいなかったという感想です。ただアウトプット
が少ないという認識ではいますので、何らかの対応をしていき
たいと思います。
アウトプットにおいてはリハーサルの重要性が書かれています。
つまりスピーキングの前に練習するということですが、
声に出さずに頭の中でつぶやくことも脳に対しては同じ効果がある
という結果も出ているようです。つまり、英語を頭の中でつぶやく
ことはスピーキングに対して効果的であるということです。
本書は、白井恭弘さんの前著「外国語学習に成功する人、しない人[3]」
の続編ということですが、酒井穣さんの「英会話ヒトリゴト学習法[4]」
では前著がヒトリゴト学習法の効用を歌った本として取り上げられています。

To stir up trouble or stir up a feeling means to cause
trouble or to cause people to have the feeling.
ex) Being back in the hospital stirred up unpleasant memories.

it because it is very old or old-fashioned.
ex) Many factories are so antiquated they are not worth

あー、これはすごいですねえ。ただlangauge exchange の方法をとっているので、英語を添削してほしい人が多すぎてなかなかまわってこないかもしれませんね。
