勝間和代さんの新刊「読書進化論」を読みました。

本を「読む」「書く」「売る」の3つの観点から
分析しています。普通の人には「読む」の章が
役に立つでしょう。

本を読むということはどういうことなのか?
それは自分ひとりの経験では得られないことを
本から得ることができるのです。
それも国や時代を超えた著者の知恵をです。

実は翻訳本のほうが選別されているため質が高いという点は
なるほどと思いました。翻訳によっては読みにくい
ものもあるのですがね。

やはり本はたくさん読まないといけないなあと思いました。
そのために勝間さんはフォトリーディングをおすすめ
しているのですが、速読モノはどうも気がすすみませんね。

第3章以降の「書く」「売る」に関しては、ブログを
書いて自分が著者になる話や、出版社におけるマーケティング
の話で、一般の読者には関係が薄いように感じました。
2章までで一冊の本としたらもっとよかったと思います。

Someone who is resourceful is good at finding ways of dealing
