予想通り、大変ためになりました。
いわゆる戦略の本は書店にたくさんありますが、
フレームワークの解説が多いですね。
しかしこの本には現場の人が戦略を考える際の勘所が
多岐にわたって、しかも簡潔にまとまっています。
私も会社でさっそく実践します！

8月号のテキストをみると、今年はお盆休みの期間はラジオも再放送
ですね。去年までは当たり前のようにレッスンが組まれていたと思
いますが、こうなったのも読者からの要望でしょうかね。
■意味を考えてみよう。今日取り上げる単語が含まれています。

One and all means everyone present or everyone in a
particular group. [OLD-FASHIONED]
ex) Being in charge of the National Health Service reforms
did not endear him to one and all.

What's the occasion? , 何かおめでたいことがあるのですか。

An occasion is an important event, ceremony, or
celebration.
ex) It will be a unique family occasion.

if I may be so bold as to ask, 差し出がましいことをお尋ね

Someone who is bold is not shy or embarrassed in the
company of other people.
ex) I don't feel I'm being bold, because it's always been
natural for me to just speak out about whatever disturbs me.
so...as to...の構文のようです。

If an animal is on the prowl, it is hunting. If a person
is on the prowl, they are hunting for something such as
a sexual parter or a business deal.
ex) Their fellow travellers are a mix of honeymooners,
single girls on the prowl and elderly couples.
