1.身の回りのことなど
節電のための輪番休日が先週で終わりました。
土日が出勤で月火が休みという不規則勤務が3か月。
土日に通勤電車に乗ると、行楽客も同じ車両にいて変な感じでした。
世間の土日のイベントには参加できないなどの不都合もありました。
子供のいる社員は保育園とか大変だったみたいです。
そんな輪番休日も終わりました。
今日は久しぶりの土曜日休日です。
一日で映画の日でもあったので、今日封切りになった
「はやぶさ／HAYABUSA」を見にいきました。
宇宙関連の学位論文を執筆しながらバイトに励むフリーターを演じる
竹内結子（架空の人物）がJAXAの広報担当として働くこととなり、
はやぶさプロジェクトの様々な研究者と間近に接する中で自らの研究者
として人生を考え、成長するというストーリーがサイドストーリーとしてありました。
JAXAの人たちの苦労もよく描かれており、
はやぶさのファンには楽しめると思います。
2点疑問なのが、イオンエンジンと中和器を接続するダイオードは、
本当に内緒でしこんでおいたものなのかということと、
竹内結子はなぜウーメラに行ったのかということです。
はやぶさはこの他に二つの映画が作られるらしいですね。

2.英語に関するあれこれ
SFNew Tech Japan Nightという、Webサービスのベンチャー企業が
サービスをプレゼンする大会が11月にSan Francisco であるそうで、
その出場をかけた日本国内の最終予選が10月8日(土)午後に品川で開かれます。
最終候補12社の英語プレゼンとQ&A、主催者によるキーノート、
パネルディスカッションなどがあるようです。
social media, smart phone, crowd(not cloud) 関連のサービスが多いです。
こういうのに興味のあるIT関連の方は行ってみてはいかがでしょう。
ただし、参加費は5000円です。
私は今非常に興味をそそられています。
