先日Skytalkのレッスンで、beerについての教材をやりました。
ビールならしゃべれるだろうと思っていましたが、内容は
ビールの造り方で、知らない言葉がたくさんでした。
例えば、
barley
millet
seedling
malt (動詞)
mash
brew（名詞）
ferment
などですかね。
答えは
barley = オオムギ
millet =キビ
seedling = 苗木(young plant)
malt = to grow into seddling
mash = 麦芽汁
brew = 混ざり合ったもの
ferment = 発酵する
でした！
あと、ビールを初めて作ったのはシュメール人（Sumerians）
で何千年も昔のことということでした。
