the same page after I've moved to the pet food operation.

a hard act to follow
If you say that someone is a hard act to follow, you mean
that they are so impressive or so effective that it will
be difficult for anyone else to be as good or as successful.
Adjectives such as 'tough' and 'difficult' can be used
instead of 'hard'.
ex) There's no doubt Ford's vision and hard work has played
a major role in the museum's success. He'll be a tough act
to follow.

Journalists sometimes use the expression the reins or
the reins of power to refer to the control of a country
or oragniaztion.
ex) He indicated he was determined to see the party keep
a hold on the reins of power.

If you fill someone in on a situation or event, you give
them more information about it so that they have all the
details.
ex) I'll fill you in on the details now.

take the floor, （討論などで）発言する

If you take the floor, you start speaking in a debate or
discussion. If you are given the floor, you are allowed
to do this.
ex) Only members would be given the floor.

を共有する

on the same page
If two or more people are on the same page, they are in
agreement about what they are trying to achieve. [AMERICAN]
ex) We're all on about the same page in our careers, we all
have the same professional needs.
