Social media is abuzz with viral videos of work-from-home attire and other quirks of life under lockdown.
The cafe was so abuzz with voices that I couldn't focus on studying.
A lot of that humor is very sensitive and many comedians are treading lightly when it comes to making jokes about the pandemic crisis.
★L17 Humor in Dark Times (2)で、 the absurd and surrealが、「滑稽で現実離れしたこと」という意味になっています。

When humor is used tastefully and with empathy, it acts as a social lubricant.
Laughter is a social lubricant.
History shows that the darkest hours can be made a little brighter with some well-timed levity.
The enemy is coming. This is no time for levity.
★have a funny bone,
There's only so much you can do for someone who doesn't seem to have a funny bone.
I don't have a funny bone.
